The Hammersmith Society’s Awards are keenly sought. If a new scheme – large or small – makes a positive and beneficial contribution to our townscape we invite you to nominate it. It could be a new development, a refurbished older building for our conservation award, a much improved open space, the removal of an eyesore, an inviting shop-front – the choice is yours. Schemes from Hammersmith Road to the far north of the borough, completed in the last couple of years, are eligible. The winner will receive a plaque and a certificate presented at the AGM.
We also invite you to nominate recent townscape horrors for the Society’s Wooden Spoon award.
Send nominations, with the location and a brief reason for your choice to the Secretary, Annabelle May, at by Friday, 9 May 2014 at the latest.
